Obama is now in the news business.

I guess obama feels  the liberal media, people like Chris “I get a tingle down my leg” Matthews, is not liberal enough to conduct this interview, so obama simply by-passed the MSM and did an in-house interview.

  1. It’s disturbing and, as others have pointed out, reminiscent of the way Sarah Palin was kept away from press interviews during her white house run with McCain.

  2. She was not kept away from the news media. And, the campaign did not do a fluff interview attempting to pass it off as a real interview.

  3. That thing you just said about her not being kept away from the media during her bid for the VP? Yeah, it’s plainly and demonstrably untrue.

So, if you’re just in denial, wake up. If you’re just lieing, find someone a little more gullable.

  4. They did not run a fake interview, and they did not threaten news stations they would not run additional interviews if they did not like the questions like the obama campaign did. After a slow start she started doing more interviews.

  5. “they did not threaten news stations they would not run additional interviews if they did not like the questions like the obama campaign did”

Did you read the article I linked?

“Rick Davis, campaign manager for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., just told Fox News Channel’s Chris Wallace that McCain running mate Gov. Sarah Palin won’t subject herself to any tough questions from reporters ‘until the point in time when she’ll be treated with respect and deference.'”

That is exactly a threat to not do interviews unless you will only use softball questions. It’s the definition of a threat to not do interviews. He says she won’t do interviews ‘until’. It’s imperically conditional. Maybe it depends upon what your definition of ‘until’ is.

Here are the two examples of Joe Biden getting pissed that he has to answer tough questions. He was so used to his fellow liberal media friends asking softball questions, he did not know how to react other than to act like a 3rd World dictator.

  7. How does that address anything you’ve said prior? Just admit you were wrong on this one, and agree with me that both are bad. Or not, whatever.

  8. Wow, I actually didn’t watch that second link of yours until now. Wouldn’t you refuse to do interviews with those guys? They accused him of funneling nearly 2 million in campaign money to his family and were absolutely wrong. Why one earth would you subject yourself to those kinds of heinous rumors?
