Once again the facts bear out that obama can’t be trusted on anything he says.   He simply says what he believes will work based not on any fact at all.

  1. The health insurance industry promised to raise rates if the healthcare package passed. They promised rate would go up if nothing was done. When you asked them why, they would say that healthy people weren’t getting health insurance, so the risk of the remaining clientel was higher resulting in higher coverage rates. Now they are saying that since we will require them to cover adults age 18 to 26 (a generally healthy group of individuals) under their parents policies then they are going to raise coverage rates. Who now is lieing? Well, I guess the insurance industry isn’t. They do always raise healthcare rates, just like they say they will.

  2. The whole selling point of the plan was that it would lower health care costs, including premiums, it would not add to the debt and it would expand coverage. Why did obama push those points if he had no control over them? Because he lied in order to gain support for the plan, which of course failed, but he and his fellow libs passed the bill anyway. Now of course his party is paying for not listening to us.

  3. The selling point was that it would lower healthcare costs OVER TIME. The way the plan is being implemented prevents most cost saving measures from going into effect for several years. And, by the way, the people who say it will save monis over the next ten and twenty years are the people we trust to calculate these things (a.k.a. the congressional budget office). A generally conservative institution that republicans continually ignored when passing there deficit ballooning changes to medicare prescription coverage and multiple tax breaks to the wealthy.

  4. It’s not going to cut costs over time. The CBO just released another report saying the costs are going to be higher. The news just keeps getting worse for obama. The CBO is not conservative.

So, again, everything obama said about the bill was a lie. He knew it and still pushed it.
