Reversing recent trends, the GOP did very well in NOVA on Tuesday.  Bob McDonnell won both Fairfax and Loudoun Counties.     A lot of attention has been  given to those two Counties by local media in attempt to determine if wins by the Dems were a sign of the future, or just the result of weak GOP candidates.  However, I would say the results on Tuesday put to rest at least for now concerns that NOVA is a lost cause for the GOP.  To further that evidence, the GOP also won three HOD races in NOVA, to add to their House majority.
