The GOP brought the brooms out today.
November 3, 2009 at 11:58 pm | In City of Manassas, Prince William County, Virginia Politics | Leave a CommentAfter having suffered through back to back liberal wins, the GOP took back the Governorship today, and followed that up by winning the other two top positions. Jackson Miller as expected won reelection by a wide margin.
I was able to work a couple of hours at the polls and also attended the GOP celebration party at the Old Town Inn. Today was a great day for Virginia and the future is looking bright once again.
Election Day.
November 3, 2009 at 9:33 am | In City of Manassas, Prince William County, Virginia Politics | Leave a CommentIf recent polls hold true, Bob McDonnell will be our next Governor, and there is a chance the GOP will increase their majority in the House. Of course just winning the election is not enough. McDonnell will have to follow through on his campaign pledges and get our Commonwealth moving in the right direction. Otherwise, in four years, there will be another bruising election cycle if the GOP cannot show they have learned from past disappointments.
I’m scheduled to volunteer later today at the polls, so I’ll have a post later on what I saw and heard. Go out and vote.
Blinky must not know how to count.
November 3, 2009 at 9:21 am | In Governement take over of the private sector, Health care., liberalism | Leave a CommentOf course she had to come out last week and claim her health bill would not add to the deficit. However, now that others have looked at the bill the costs keep going up, due in part to some very obvious hope and wish accounting on the part of the Blinky. These libs want a health care at any cost(no pun intended) in order to grow the Federal Government and deficit, not to help people.
