Imagine if a few GOP members of Congress visited a far right-wing leader who ruled his Nation with an iron fist, who had killed countless people who dared spoke out against his policies, and praised the leader.   Do you think the GOP members would get a pass from the press and the Country?  

Well, the below link takes you to an article not about GOP members, but about the CBC-the Congressional Black Caucus who visited the Fidel Castro and said many nice things about him.   Yup, they had a good old time hanging out with a fellow Communist.

Will these “elected officials” face any backlash for their kissing up to one of the worst leaders in history?  I doubt it since they were praising the right type of leader.
